We produce 400 tons which translates into 15000 cases or 175 000 bottles of wine per year.

Not even the not-so-summery weather conditions could dampen the spirits at this year’s Jakkalsvlei MTB challenge and Jackal trail run.
Jakkalsvlei’s ever-popular Food & Wine Pairing evenings are back and this time, they are celebrating the start of summer! Chef Thomas Potgieter has compiled an impressive five-course menu that will satisfy even the toughest food critic’s taste buds. Well-known saxophone player Boesman Keyser will be providing live entertainment at the event that is set to take place on 5 November.
The Jakkalsvlei MTB and Jackal trail-running events, celebrating its third year this year, will take place on Saturday, 29 October on the Jakkalsvlei wine farm. Both events are organised by TriSport who specialises in event management, sports travel, coaching and sports tourism, and is well-known for their top-class event organisation.

Three of Jakkalsvlei’s wines honoured at Michelangelo Awards.
Local wine cellar Jakkalsvlei received gold medals for three of its wines at the prestigious Michelangelo International Wine & Spirit Awards. This is the first time Jakkalsvlei has entered wines into the competition which is judged by international & local judges and owner and winemaker Jantjie Jonker was ecstatic with the results. “To win only one gold would have been excellent,” he commented, “but to have won three by far exceeded our expectations!”
